Siemens Enterprise Communications recently relaunched the company as Unify so it was important to communicate the brand and new vision to the partner community. Wendy at Dockgate Events was asked to find a suitable venue for 160+ attendees, source the entertainment and manage the logistics to help run the event, all this in a short timescale. The event was an amazing success with many senior executives and partners saying it was the best event they had attended all year.
We were tasked to propose a central venue, which offered a sophisticated working environment at a competitive price. The Belfry was chosen as it had just been refurbished and the quality of the hotel was certainly spectacular and a great backdrop for Unifys event.
We worked with the venue to organise break out rooms and managed the onsite communications between the suppliers and the hotel.
The delegates were asked to register on a purpose-made web page and we prepared the content for this and dealt with the delegate communication.
On the day we arranged the registration, check in and badges and dealt with the food and beverage at the hotel for lunch, coffee breaks and an Awards Dinner in the evening. We provided a retro girl band who entertained guests at various points during the evening, even providing ‘live’ walk up music for the awards. We also sourced a mind reader who had the audience on their feet by the end of his set.
A pretty good inaugural event!
