After a successful Christmas Conference and Celebration in December 2011 (organised by us), ITS wanted to hold a summer event that would involve all their staff and their families. With offices in Lymington and Bracknell, Dock Gate Events suggested the Beaulieu Estate and Motor Museum as the location.
As well as all the attractions that the Motor Museum offers, we were able to add in some additional activities just for this group.
Amongst the many miserable days either side of our event, we had a dry and sunny day! We organised a BBQ lunch (complete with chequered table clothes) whilst guests enjoyed duck herding, laser clay shooting, archery and circus skills (for the kids, but the adult seemed to enjoy it too!). Surprisingly the highlight of the day was the Falconry experience which culminated in an amazing demonstration. We rounded off the day with a quintessentially English afternoon tea. Every detail was covered from a 100 piece crockery set, coloured table cloths, vintage bunting and flowers and vases to sandwiches, cakes and tea….ohh and there might have been some champagne and pimms going around too!
